See Naples and Die! The Campania Artecard

Kevin Clark

Visitors who plan to spend several days or more in the region may want to consider the Campania ArteCard which provides free or discounted entry to many of the area's important sights and public transportation. The card includes such sights as Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, Caserta, the Museo Archeologico and other Naples museums and palaces, and major sights in the Phlegraean Fields (Campi Flegrei). The card can be purchased at most participating sights and comes in several versions.

  • There are two 3-day versions of the card, one just for Naples and the Campi Flegrei and another for all of Campania (13 Euro and 25 Euro respectively); these include free admission to the first two sights visited and 50% discounts on the other sights covered by the card.
  • The 7-day card includes free admission to all covered sights and costs 28 Euro.

Both the 3-day and 7-day cards include free public transportation.

There's also a 365 day card costing 40 Euro which includes two free entries to all of the sights, but does not include public transportation.

For more information, see www.artecard.it.
