Didn't like it.

I have spent a lot of time in Italy, have lived there, and speak the language, so my review is not coming from a "new tourist". This restaurant is over-rated.

Alex at Parteno B&B talked me into going here. I was hesitant as I wanted to try a trattoria I'd heard good things about in the center. But instead I took the long taxi ride to this restaurant and it was a wasted taxi fare. I didn't like the way the guy at the door said "Parteno B&B" when I entered, as it made me feel that the B&B was getting kick backs. This might not bother me if the restaurant has been a worthy experience but the restaurant was a turn off and this bummed me out particularly because it was my one & only night in Naples with my parents.

The place was overly formal and the antipasti were so gross that my husband had to spit his out and I was not remotely tempted to even try mine. The fish secondi was fine but such a "brutta figura" was made with the antipasti and the formality and the too-high prices, that our experience was already a poor one and there was nothing to redeem it.
