A great caffe across from the church with the Piero della Francesca frescoes. Large room with many tables. Great pastries.

Caffe dei Constanti in Arezzo. 09/99 We have been here several times. Beautiful large old caffe. There is a large room filled with tables and a long bar down one side with pastries. You can order your pastry at the bar and they will bring it to your table.

When we got back from one trip we watched the movie "It's a Beautiful Life" which was clearly filmed in Arezzo. You could see this caffe in one scene. Now that I look closer at picture of the caffe, I see that have put cardboard statues of the characters from the movie right in front of the caffe! We must have missed that in our rush for the pastries.
