Directions: On the pedestrian zone that intersects the viale Elisabetta The three of us ate here twice on our October, 2007 trip. They open at 7:30 and fill up with local residents very fast. We delayed until 8 pm to see if another restaurant would open that evening and when it didn't we had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table at Passatore. On our first night two of us had a starter of prosciutto and one a delicious baccala with polenta. That was followed by spaghetti carbonara and two orders of fritto misto. We all had a sgroppino. With house wine the bill was 88 euro. All during the evening we saw the most fabulous looking pizzas being delivered all around the busy room. So we returned for our last night in Venice for a sample. Three large, excellent pizzas, beer and wine, and a sgroppino set us back 45 euro.
