Castello: Al Portego

Calle Malvasia, between Rialto and S Maria Formosa

Reviewed by: Jonathan from Stroud, UK, review #344

When: 2001

Not too crowded, very friendly, and good value.

A new experience for us was snacking at a bacaro. They'd always looked too crowded and terrifying on previous visits, but this time we found one just round the corner from our apartment.
