Bellagio: Albergo Ristorante Silvio

Fresh fish and pasta overlooking Lake Como

This was a pleasant enough restaurant but not worth the 20 minute or so walk from the center of Bellagio when there are other very good restaurants in town. This 150 seat restaurant is known for serving very fresh lake fish and the fillet of Lavaret (a mild whote fish) sauteed in a parsley sauce was indeed very fresh and quite good.

My husband had the spaghetti alla Silvio, a spicy spaghetti in a tomato sauce that he enjoyed. They also offer a selection of veal and beef. This was an inexpensive meal but we were spoiled by the meal we had the night before at Bilacus.
