Warm and cozy trattoria with great food

Iíve wanted to try this place for some time so I stopped in for lunch after visiting the nearby church of Santí Alvise. Itís a warm and cozy spot in Cannaregio with nice staff and a small menu for lunch.

Anice Stellato is known for its fish but I was in the mood for vegetables so I had the vegetable tagliatelle and a side of mixed vegetables that included peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, and black olives. Everything was delicious including the house white wine, a Pinot Bianco that was the best wine I had the whole trip. At 18 euro, it was very reasonably priced. Iíll definitely return here. I didnít have reservations but it was December; Iíve read that reservations are a must in season.
