Had an excellent meal here. Had been recommended by person from Lucca. Classic Italian dishes. Popular with locals and tourists.

Directions: Outside of Lucca. Next to La Mora.

This is a 300 year old Trattoria offering classic Italian dishes. It is known for its steak Florentine which they say melts in your mouth. We did not order that but the steak that Ken did have was outstanding, according to him. I had a plate full of little trout which were so delicous I would have liked another order. Everything we had was well-prepared and tasty. There is a house wine which we ordered -- as did everyone else we saw in the restaurant -- which was quite good.

The meal was on the expensive side but less so than La Mora, next door. It is a nice, short drive from Lucca so makes a pleasant evening out.
