Directions: Near the San Lorenzo church on Via San Gallo in the city center
The restaurant is wonderful with good food and a casual atmosphere. You can sit and be served by a waitress or you can get food and drink at the counter. It is open all day with the full menu available from early in the morning until late at night. You can have sandwiches, cold cut platters and hot and cold food. You may choose to drink anything from coffee, tea or soda and juice to an immense choice of wines or cocktails if you so choose. The atmosphere is very relaxing and people who work there are very friendly and multilingual. There were times I spent in Florence when I would awake late, around noon time and still get breakfast items. It really has a hometown feel to it and you are not made to feel like a tourist.
