A great restaurant, but fairly expensive.

Directions: Just off of the main piazza in the center of Bologna

We reserved a place at this restaurant our first night in Bologna because of good reviews and a Michelin star listing. Our reservation and seating were handled very professionally, and the waitress took time to explain all the dishes on the menu and make recommendations.

We sampled several of the local meat specialties, for which Bologna is famous, and they were excellent. Pasta dishes were fantastic. I had one of the fish dishes as my main course (I believe tilapia), and it did not taste fresh. It was the only dish of the evening that we were not enthusiastic about. My wife and daughter's main courses were great, and the desserts were wonderful. Overall, this was a great meal, and prices were quite high, running about 70 per person.

The restaurant ambiance is modern, very comfortable and attractive. Noise level is low and lighting is just right. Definitely worth the price.
