Good but not outstanding pizza in the Napoli's centro

We would only have 2 meals in Naples and I was determined one of them would be the famous Napoli pizza. We were near Piazza Bellini at lunch time and I had read some good reviews about it, so we ambled in.

A good sized ristorante and pizzeria with 2 floors, it was busy with mostly locals and we were directed upstairs to a nice room. The waiters were not particularly friendly but service was efficient.

I can't even remember what kind of pizzas we had, probably sausage and eggplant. They were good but nothing remarkable. Perhaps I was expecting too much but we had better pizza in Posiatano and Pontone and dare I say Boston! Then again we did not have the specialities of the house which were pesce alla griglia and linguine cartoccio. A large group of Italians did have some great looking pasta and fish dishes, so maybe this wasn't the best spot to try Napoli pizza.

The waiter had not spoken any English to us the entire meal but when the bill came (when I was not there), he said to my husband in perfect English that service was not included in the bill. However, it was clearly stated on the bill that it was included! He left our usual 1-2E tip.

So this may be a great place for locals but I'm sure one could get friendly service and better pizza elsewhere in Napoli.
