We were very disappointed with this restaurant. We had not expected a whole lot as it is clearly there for tourists but even then we were disappointed.

The waitresses were quite rude; diners seemed to be a great inconvenience to them. One was so displeased with a customer who quietly asked to have a table changed that she stomped to the area where the table setting items were and threw a napkin down into it.

The food was acceptable but not good enough to consider a return date. With all the places to get good food in Firenze, even at affordable prices, I would work at avoiding this place.

Good food, lovely outdoor seating, moderately priced.

We were lucky to snag an outdoor table for 4 on a busy Sunday afternoon for lunch, as there were several couples waiting for tables. This is a busy restaurant filled with both locals and tourists, so it is often hard for the wait staff to keep up. This did not distract from the very good food and beautiful setting on Piazza Santo Spirito. The girls had a lovely ravoli in sage and butter sauce. I had an excellent pasta amatriciana (my favorite pasta dish) and my sister had a very good pizza. I had remembered the wonderful insalata caprese with soft mozzarella from a meal I had here last year and it was every bit as good as I had remembered. In fact this was the best insalata caprese of the whole trip! The house vino rosso was fine. All in all a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
