Traditional ristorante with excellent food and ambience.

On my previous trip to Florence in 2000, we had a great meal here, chosen after we saw fresh zucchini flowers delivered to the chef. Those fried zucchini flowers were delicious and I longed to taste them again this trip. They were not on the menu this time but I had some fantastic fresh peas in season with pecorino cheese in olive oil that almost made me forget the zucchini flowers. My friend had some artichokes in olive oil that were also lovely. We progressed to a couple of tasty pasta dishes that I can't quite recall. I do remember being very happy with the meal and its moderate price.

There are no English menus and not a lot of English is spoken but that is hardly a deterrent for this lovely ristorante. I would be happy to return.
