Great pasta. Glorious view. Reasonbable prices. Delightful chef/owner.

Directions: Between Fiano and Montespertoli.

After a disappointing meal our first night in Marcialla, we took Divina's recommendation and headed for C'era Una Volta in nearby Lucardo. We did our best to order in Italian and chef/owner Isabella Neerman reciprocated by speaking her best English. We were so taken with the food and the hospitality, we returned twice for dinner and my wife and I slipped back for lunch one day for pasta and the wonderful view in daylight.

Isabella is especially proud of her fresh ingredients and Friday night seafood and fish selections. Her house red wine is very nice also.

Great views, food only fair.

Directions: Close to Montespertoli

We had been at this restuarant 2 years prior and were looking forward to another great meal. However, we were to find that this wasn't to be the case at all. While they started strong with a wonderful appetizer selection all of our main course were only just so-so. I tried the ossobucco which was pretty good but nothing to write home about. This place is more about the views, which are outstanding, but once it gets dark you are left with really bland food. Luckily we were with good friends and that made the evening a success!
