THE place for coffee or tea (or pastries) in the Piazza!

I love Rivoire's caffe con panna (thick cream), and their tramezzini make for a nice little nibble in mid-afternoon. The coveted outdoor tables are perfect for people watching when you need a break from Florence's cobblestone streets and its museums' marble floors. Inside, be prepared for small tables packed closely together. Wherever you sit, the busy white jacketed waiters do a great job of making sure you have what you need without making you feel rushed.
