We dined at Carpe Diem once on our trip in November 2006 when we stayed in a nearby village. The waiter was very pleasant, even when my husband knocked over and broke a full red wine glass, spilling wine all over the table and sending glass everywhere. I dined there with my husband, 3 children, ages 12, 8, 6, and my parents. Our bill was about €160, and was the most expensive meal we had. My father had the steak and was very pleased. My mother and husband had a good pork roast that came with over-salted potatoes. I had wild boar that was not gamey at all - more like a beef roast. And it came with fried polenta, that was also good. The children had spaghetti, and were happy as well. The house red wine was very good, although the restaurant had an extensive wine list and wines stored throughout the dining room.
