Good Tuscan cuisine

We dined here on at the suggestion of an Italian friend who told us professors from the local university frequent the place.

The food was delicious and authentic. My chickpea soup was outstanding (I find myself craving it), as was the cacciatore. My husband loved his penne con funghi. The kitchen closes early for lunch, so get there around 12:30 so you can be sure to snag a table

Interesting vegetarian choices.

Directions: A very small street off Via San Pietro.

I had a potato filled with vegetables in a cream sauce. Since we only ate non- meat or non-shellfish dishes, I cannot comment on the other items which are Tuscan specialties.
