Good food, but uncomfortable outdoor seating and a rude waiter.

We had read several good reviews of this restaurant so were anxious to try it. We requested a table outside which was nice but very crowded. All the tables are pushed together in rows, and the wooden chairs are quite uncomfortable (my husband’s was actually a stool).

We ordered the Seafood Antipasti, and the waiter brought us a total of 9 plates of delicious seafood: octopus, anchovies, calamari, prawns, mussels, and more. My husband ordered some kind of pasta with mussels and I had the grilled fish; both were excellent. What I wish we would have ordered is one of the dinners for two that come in the big clay pots. Several of these looked wonderful too.

The only negative (other than the uncomfortable chairs) was our server who seemed to hate his job, hate the customers, and probably life in general. Perhaps he was having a bad night, but when we paid our bill, he gave us less change than we were due. It wasn’t enough to try to debate with him, but we decided not to return.
