Truck stop, with pretty good Umbrian home-style cooking. Very cheap.

Directions: Outside town, although not very far, on the SS3 Flaminia highway towards Nocera Umbra.

Formerly the Barba dei Priori, under new management: no longer excellent, but still good. Simple Umbrian home-type cooking. Nondescript stuccoed building on the N side of the highway, gravel parking lot with the customers' trucks and semi's parked in it.

The antipasto platter was quite good and rather impressive: in addition to ham, sausages, and crostini, some kind of hot soft runny cheese with truffles in it, with the unusual addition of a fried egg. My primo: tagliatelle al tartufo, not as truffly as it can be, but good (B). A commercial tiramisú for dessert. Limoncello.

We fed 3 people, and drank a good bottle of rosso di Montefalco of one of the best vintners (Arquata Adanti): 60E. Overall rating: B. Value for money: A+.
