Warm, friendly service. Great recommendations for wine and food. We loved this place! Interesting menu.

Directions: Over the Rialto Bridge to San Polo, go left along the Fondamenta, turn right on Calle del Paradiso.

This place is really worth trying - even if it's not in the book "Chow! Venice." We were treated very warmly and the food was very good. Loved the marinated shrimp with ginger and the pasta with mushrooms and truffles. Fish was great -- typically Venetian; wonderful.
