Inexpensive restaurant for some good seafood and standard Tuscan fare

Directions: First intersection on the Oltrano side of the Ponte alla Carraia

I ate here in 2004 as part of a a group tour of students from the Koine school and again in 2005 because it was right downstairs from my rental apartment. I'm not sure if the school has a connection with the restaurant or they brought us there because it was relatively inexpensive with typical Tuscan food. I had a very nice mixed grill of fish and remember the house vino rosso as decent. There were many families having pizza here which I didn't try but it looked good. Atmosphere is friendly and informal.

For lunch in 2005, my sister and I had 2 pasta dishes that were just OK. The owners of the restaurant were very nice, as they let us pile our luggage in a corner as we ate our lunch and waited for our rental agent to meet us.

Recommended for an inexpensive meal if you're in the area but I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.
