A restaurant for food lovers, and for those who had enough of ribollita and garlic hanging from the ceiling.

Directions: same square but opposite side of Cibreo

This restaurant is a little off the beaten track, just outside the historical city center, but definitely worth the walk. It faces the Sant’ Ambrogio market square, so that may be a reason for a visit.

While the food served here is definitely Italian, the menu itself is quite a novelty for Florence standards: they serve a selection of small dishes, like Spanish tapas, so that, as the young owner explained me “in just one meal you can taste many differet recipes.”

A restaurant for food lovers, and for those who had enough of ribollita and stale Tuscan trattorias, I’d say. Prices are very cheap compared to most other restaurants (around 25€ for dinner wine included) especially when you consider the quality and variety of what you are eating.
