A "grown-up" restaurant, excellent food, service, and ambience.

Directions: Across from the Teatro di Giglio, next to the Hotel Universo, adjacent to Piazza Napoleone.

A very civilized and welcoming atmosphere, a bit formal, with a big fireplace in the background. Upscale seasonal Lucchese cuisine, well prepared and courteously served. A local favorite for entertaining business clients. Not as expensive as the more famous Buca di San Antonio or Puccini, less stuffy than those. We saw a group of Frenchmen and Frenchwomen dining there who left extremely happy with the food and the service, as were we. Approx cost 25-40 euro/person with wine, slightly less for lunch if you eat more lightly at that meal.
