Exceptional food but the chef was only under contract until October 2002. If the owner's smart, he rehired the guy.

Directions: It's in town, on the main road as you're heading into the center of Bagni di Lucca from points south on SS 12.

The dining room looks through large picture windows onto the Lima River and a waterfall. I had lunch and dinner there the same day. Lunch was spinach and avocado salad, tagliatelle al tartufo and barley soup. Dinner was fish. I don't recall what kind, but it was excellent. Moderately priced. Reservations advised.
