This is a great place we were introduced to by one of our guides during our ArtViva tour in Florence. It is a small sandwich shop on a side street. No tables or chairs! You walk up to the counter; place your order from a selection of about 30 different sandwiches; order some water, a soft drink or a glass of prosecco. Then you stand in the street eating away! They have little shelves on the wall on both sides of the shop where you can place your drinks if you want. These shelves are also the spot where you leave your empty wine glass. We each had a Caprino Finocchione sandwich that was wonderful. I enjoyed a prosecco, while Tom stuck with water. Total cost for 2: 7.00 euros This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
