This place made us very happy, again. I love actually seeing the food in the display cases. "Point and eat" (tavola calda) at its best. More seating inside.

I went a little overboard ordering but the veggies looked so good! I had spinach, cicoria, eggplant and a piece of roasted turkey. Ken had gnocchi pomodoro and a plate of artichokes. The vegetables really "hit the spot" for me. Great lunch! The artichokes were really interesting and delicious - sliced very thin and pan fried. Good place for vegetarians.

Great fun, sit outside in the Piazza, point to food in display cases inside. Known for olives Ascolana (fried and meat-stuffed). Lunch for 4--E47.

We really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service. We ate fabulous cheesey meatballs in a red sauce, "Spanish beans" which were like giant white limas, delicious chicken with olives, cichoria, fagiolini, stuffed tomatoes and great bread. The only thing we didn't love was the gnocchi--just OK. Good place for veggies!
