We were looking for an affordable, air-conditioned restaurant near the Ponte Vecchio and found this gem. Only 9 tables and all eventually filled with tourists, but we could tell that many were repeat customers. One of us ordered off of the tourist menu (they had two, at €10 and €14), five of us off of the regular menu. There were many choices of pasta and my non-pasta-eating son loved the Tagliarini al Salmone. I thought that the Gnocchi Gorgonzola were heavenly. Frittura di Calamari was a small portion, but excellent, light and crispy. After the meal, our waiter offered all of us a complimentary amare digestivo, which thrilled my 16 yr. old son to no end. Dinner for 6, 2 courses each with 1 liter of house white, 2 liters acqua, fantas & sprites for only €110. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
