Montefollonico: Il Botteghino

Reviewed by: Genie from Germany, review #190

When: 2002

We loved the nice simple restaurant with very good food.

La Chiusa, a very expensive well known restaurant and hotel, is also in Montefollonico. My husband and I preferred Il Botteghino, which we found through perusing the restaurant section of this site - recommended by Bill - which had good, cheap food. It was also the only place where we had the opportunity to use our Italian menu translator. No English spoken, no english menu - fun! The waitress was very patient with our rudimentary language skills.

Inexpensive, local restaurant with simple but good food.

Walking distance from our house - and it is always full with locals. By far the lowest prices of any restaurant we've been to in this area - simple, but very tasty food.
