Directions: Near Montaione I dined here twice in November 2006 while staying in a nearby village. I was with my family of 7 - myself, my husband, our 3 children, ages 12, 8, 6, and my parents. Our meals were about €120. I had read that there was a hostess there who spoke very good English and was very friendly. Apparently she was on vacation, and we had an all male staff with limited English skills. They were very friendly and the food was great. Their menu was limited due to being off-season, but we still had many choices. My mother ate rabbit both times, and my husband and father had roasted chicken that was delicious. I had gnocchi with pears and cheese one night and tagliatelle with tomato sauce the other night. My children had spaghetti and were very happy. They also had a small chocolate cake with a fudgey filling that was very tasty. I would definitely go back to Il Caminetto.
