Great spot and inexpensive.

Lunch at Il Cortegiano was excellent. I’ve always been envious of a chef that can turn an unlikely combination of ingredients into a masterpiece. In this case it was a veal scallopini served with balsamic vinegar, rucola and strawberries. The mixture of acidity, bitterness and sweetness resulted in an outstanding dish. Lunch for two was €49 with a half liter of rosso conero.
