Great wine bar in the historic center

My friend and I took a day trip from Venice to Padova (Padua) to visit the Scrovegni Chapel and then wandered around the city for a while. We had lunch at this great place in the historic center right by the Duomo. The business card says “Snackbar Gancino” but it looks more like Florian’s inside, very elegant with lots of wood and mirrors. We ordered at the bar and then they brought everything to our table.

I had two tramezzini (one tuna, one shrimp) and a glass of Prosecco. My friend had this amazing chocolate tart and a cappuccino. The bill was 10 euros with no table or service charges. Everything was delicious. Would definitely return.
