Directions: "1, via Coste" is also a valid address. From the large square at the top of the hill, where the parking is (the Piazza Garibaldi), face the mountain and take the street to your 11 o'clock, via Coste. Within 50 meters it becomes one-way against you, EXCEPT for "those going to the Terziere"! About 100 meters more, and you're there. Lunch, May 2004: Bruschetta bianca (just bread and the famous oil of Trevi), A+; tagliatelle norcine, B; salsicce di Trevi, B+; no dessert this time. One of my friends had the gnocchi al Sagrantino, and said the sauce was terrific, gnocchi pasty; the other had a filetto ai funghi that looked very good. The Terziere is also a hotel; I had breakfast here, also in 2004, which included a good homemade pear cake. Overall rating: B+ Value for money: B This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
