Siena: Il Vinaio dell'Eremita

Reviewed by: valeria from italy, review #1140

When: 2005

Very small place, just four or five tables, but for a lunch is ideal! Not particularly beautiful but ... food is amazing!!!!

It is a very small place. I can't define it a restaurant, because the atmosphere is most informal and there isn't a clear separation between primi and secondi. You can eat crostoni (big slices of toasted bread with almost everything, salsiccia, pecorino, tuscny oil, etc), chick-pea soup, cheese and salumi, and many other tasty typical dishes. It's very cheap, and the owner is friendly.
