Late night cafe with friendly staff, good food and wine.

Directions: Just across the Ponte dei Pugni

We were looking for a place to eat after 11pm on our night of arrival in Venice - the Imagina Cafe was close to our apartment and open until 2am. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful, explaining (translating) the dishes listed on the menu, bringing us samples of the wine to help us select and giving us his recommendations.

I had ricotta and spinach cannelloni, and my companion a 4 cheese assortment with salad. Both were excellent as was the bottle of white wine, we also both had dessert and the total was about €45.
