Pauline had grilled vegetable antipasti and spaghetti sorrento (tomato, mozzarella, basil). Steve had vegetable soup and sea bass in spinach sauce. Potatoes. ½ bottle white wine (excellent – Principessa Gavia from Gavi), water, shared a sorrento cake – cake in lemon sauce. The restaurant was upscale with a guy playing a mandolin and singing walking around. Sort of annoying. People were dressed up, but we dressed casual. We had no idea it would turn out to be so expensive, but could have figured it out. Excellent food. Our most expensive meal in Italy ever. 229,000 lire ($115 for two) This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
