Directions: Near Porta Palatina, in the Quadrilatero Romano. We had a very good light dinner here in this informal, friendly place. We weren't up for a large meal, so simply had the mixed antipasti. For €24, we received a warm puffy cheese torta, a salad of farro with arugula, a plate of vitello tonnato and tongue with salsa verde, a zucchini flan, and a cheese plate. Everything was delicious, and it was quite enough food. If we hadn't been full, we would have gone on to one of the pastas or other goodlooking dishes other people were enjoying. We also had a very nice bottle of Barbera. Total bill was €40 for two, including wine and water. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
