All four of us voted this ristorante our all-time favorite and ate here two consecutive nights. The best of the best!

L'Antica Trattoria shines in all respects-service, decor, food, and ambience. The menu is a bit daunting at first with a series of tasting menus at fixed prices. We chose to order ala carte, thankfully, because the volume of food and extra courses, compliments of the restaurant, could have been a bit much.

I enjoyed the best insalata Caprese to date as my primi, followed by stuffed zucchini blossoms, compliments of the house. I selected the primi, eggplant-stuffed cannelloni as my entree. Other selections at our table included a cheesy tagliolini with zucchini, eggplant gratin, and rack of lamb. We were swooning by the time we ordered coffee, which arrived with a plate of minature desserts, courtesy of the house.

There is a nice wine list which includes several reasonably priced wines, and a vegetarian menu. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening and were treated like honored guests. There is a covered terrace for outdoor dining, reservations are essential.
