Our restaurant of choice during a month in Citta di Castello. Pizza is great, steak is tasty and well prepared, service is far above average.

Directions: Just off Piazza Matteotti behind Cafe Latino.

Our first meal here was light, just pizzas and salads after a long flight. Our next meal expanded to include primi of tagliatelle and porcini and grilled beef filet. We ate here so many times we tried practically every item on the menu. Everything was wonderful, fresh and delicious.

The service was prompt, pleasant, friendly and efficient. Our average bill was well under €40.

Rarely was there an empty table by 8:30. A lot of families, from grandparents to little ones, were here on any day of the week. And still a fair share of young couples. Both inside and patio dining available.

We still can't figure out how this little restaurant provided such good atmosphere, food and service so inexpensively.
