Directions: Cross the Ponte di Mezzo and take the 4th left onto Borgo Marodolo. May 2006: My cousin Ernesto, who lives in Parma with his girlfriend Santy, ordered dinner for us. We started with a platter of mixed meats (proscuitto, salami, etc.), followed by tortelli with ricotta and spinach. Santy ordered delicious fried cheese, shaped into a bowl, which was filled with a creamy rucola. Santy and I had cookies for dessert. This was a small restaurant and no tourists! This is one of Ernesto's favorite places - he knows the owners very well. He ordered dinner without any menu but picked things he liked and wanted me to try. Of course, being hosts while I visited them for two days, I couldn't pay for dinner - or any meal for that matter! Being a very small restaurant, I believe prices are reasonable. The food was excellent. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
