We stopped here after our wine tour for some lunch, and it’s a great place to relax and enjoy good food.

Directions: Volpaia is north of Radda.

Although we were just having a light lunch, the couple we ate with had a full dinner and said everything was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

We had a great lunch here after hiking up from Radda.

The trail from Radda to Volpaia (from the book Walking and Eating in Tuscany and Umbria) starts in Radda, but you can shorten it by driving part way. We parked along the road from Radda to Volpaia (at the first fork) and found the trail that takes you through the woods and up to Volpaia. It was a good walk, mostly uphill, and this restaurant is perfect for lunch. They have a few tables outside on the piazza.
