When: 2001

This is a small enoteca where you can get bruschetta, deli items and sandwiches.

Directions: It is on the edge of the old part of town, near the place where you put your feet in the open stream.

Open: 10:30-19:30. They have casual outdoor seating (get your lunch at the counter and take it to the tables outside).

September 2002: We headed here for a late lunch before a hike, but it was closed! I thought closing day was Thursday, but maybe it is Tuesday. All the restaurants had finished lunch (it was 3pm), so we had sandwiches at the caffe off the hotel in the center of town (overlooking the old baths).

October 2001: We picked up sandwiches and cookies from here and then did a 4 hour hike from Bagno Vignoni. After the hike we returned for some bruschetta then soaked our feet in the hot springs water. The food is still good. They sell the FungoAmiata products - porcini in oil, artichokes in oil, etc. And a great selection of packaged cookies. Also wine.

June 2000: A great place for a light lunch when you are exploring Bagno Vignoni.
