Terrific "local" ristorante specializing in seafood

As this restaurant was located across the street from our wonderful Hotel Tramonto D'Oro, it was a no brainer that we would eat there. It helped that other Slow Travelers had also recommended it. This place was hopping on a Thursday night with both locals and tourists. We were welcomed warmly at 8:30pm without a reservation. I noticed that many people were also taking out pizzas.

We started with a warm, mixed vegetable antipasta that was excellent. I had a grilled local fish that was nicely done and Jim had a chicken diavolo dish that he enjoyed as a change of pace from fish and pasta. They had a nice wine list, the service was friendly and it was inexpensive. A definite must if you're staying in Praiano.

A family run restaurant. Simple good food. Another restaurant that provided its own pickup. The driver then came in and was our waiter.

The pizza looked very good but we didn’t have that. A place that the locals eat. Tourists probably would not find or choose this place without a recommendation from someone.
