Average trattoria/pizzeria with higher than average prices and poorer than average service.

Directions: On the main street leading to the castle.

Ugh. We hadn't meant to eat in town, but found that the picnic bag had gone into the other car with the grandparents, so...

The restaurant has a nice patio area, with some tables having a view over the lake. Food was very average, prices were high since this is a tourist town. Some food was competent, but portions unusually small. The best thing we had was a farro salad; and a pici with pomodoro and rucola was pretty good. Ravioli was so greasy with butter we had to pour off excess. Bread was stale panini. Our big complaint was with the service. Food we hadn't ordered was brought; and salads we ordered never arrived. When he could be found, the waiter was surly.

Recommended by F. Cesarini (Panicale Rentals). We had dinner here. A large pizza restaurant that is very lively and has great pizza.
