Directions: 5 minutes outside of Sarnano - you can easily get directions from anyone in town or call the restaurant. Well, I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the pizzas at La Castellana were superb. All are made in their woodburning oven. From looking around the crowded, lively, cave-like dining room, it appeared that most of the other customers were likewise ordering pizza. Wonderful, extremely thin crust and fresh toppings. Nice choices. I had a pizza with egglplant, tomato, mozzarella. Someone else had one with speck and mushrooms. Good Rosso Conero - I think we ordered a bottle, as opposed to house wine, and the price was quite good for good quality wine (8 Euro per bottle of good Rosso Conero). The disappointment was the tiramisu - I'd stay away from it. 4 people: 4 pizzas, two bottles of wine, water, coffee, 1 dessert - 54 Euro.
