San Marco: La Chat Qui Rit Cafeteria

Calle Frezzaria

Reviewed by: jgk from FL, review #1619

When: 2005

Like any cafeteria--what you see is what you get. Better than Piccadilly in the states but generally greasy and lacking in real flavor. Pretty expensive, too.

We were tired and starving at a strange hour so we succumbed to the convenience of the Chat.

It's very near Locando Orseolo. Some of the dishes were good, like the pasta with mushrooms. Most were just OK. The people who work there seem bored and not very willing to serve.
