A small, crowded local place - the restaurant is attached to the caffe. They have pizza as well as regular dinners.

Directions: On the main road into Sovicille, there is a Jolly Caffe (you see them everywhere). This one has a great restaurant attached

We had our first meal in Italy here in September 1996 (ignoring the 1988 trip which was too long ago to count). It was great. We went there a couple of times on that trip.

In October 1999, we stayed in that area for a few days, wanting to have a look at Sovicille again. We went straight to that restaurant, but it was closed on a Saturday because of some big football match on TV. So we ate at the very nice, but much fancier, restaurant in the center of Sovicille. We did manage to finally eat here again the next night, but the meal wasn't as good as we had remembered from before. (Mostly just because they messed up our order and we ended up with a very odd meal.) I would still recommend them. A good hangout for the expats in the area.
