Friendly and innovative vegetarian restaurant. Modern decor with a bit of an Asian influence.

We arrived a little early and it looked like the restaurant was closed. But a young Swedish woman came out and proceeded to tell us all about the place. We stood and talked with Mai for quite awhile. She worked there for her friend Veronica, the owner, also from Sweden.

We were welcomed in and offered complimentary sweet bubbly to start. There were 3 of us and we shared 2 appetizers. They were both good, my favourite was the poached pears and cheese in honey. Superb!

I had polenta cakes with sundried tomato, cheese, basil, mixed greens with cherry pomodorittas. Lauren had risotto with feta and beetroot, and my daughter had bowtie pasta in green sauce with rocket, pomodoro, zucchini. Each was presented attractively, and we enjoyed the unique flavour combinations.

Liqueur for dessert. The bill came to 58 Euro. This was near the high end of what we spent on dinners, but it was by far the best meal we had in our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy. It is unusual to find a restaurant where the people, the food and the decor all worked together so well.

I am sorry, I don't know their schedule, other than they are open Friday, Saturday, and Monday (the day we went).
