From the same family of Il Latini in Florence

Directions: on the outskirts of Certaldo heading toward San Gimignano. It is located in the hotel of the same name.

This is a small restaurant that was recommended by the woman who ran the B&B where we stayed. About half and half locals and tourists. We ate there twice and each night there was a large Italian family having dinner there - interesting to watch because they did not order - the waiters just brought them food!

The second time we went, our waiter remembered that my husband drinks his water with gas and I drink mine without. The food was wonderful. They serve complimentary pre-appetizers - different the two times we were there, and complimentary after dinner wine and biscotti.

In the total of four meals we ordered, we didn't have anything that was not excellant. I think the total bill for us both, including wine, was 75-80 euros - and we shared an antipasti, and each had primi and secondi. I highly recommend Latini.
