I traveled to Rome in March 2007 with a friend. We happened upon Le Grotte and decided to try it out. The waiter was quick to seat us, but that is where our pleasure ended. The food was expensive, but mediocre at best. The waiter didn't appear to like us. While other tables came and went, we waited a half hour after we finished our meal before requesting our check. It took him over an hour to bring our check to us and another 20 minutes to bring us the credit card receipt. We were curious if we got this treatment because we are Americans, however, the British couple seated next to us got the same treatment. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone.
