We loved this pizzeria/restaurant and ate there a couple of times!

We loved this pizzeria/restaurant and ate there a couple of times. It seemed to be a popular spot with both tourists (we met folks from Netherlands, Australia and Germany) and locals.

The decor is charming with brightly coloured walls and checkered tablecloths. If you sit in the top section, you can watch the wood oven pizza being made or peer into the kitchen to see your boar, rabbit or other dishes being made.

The pizzas are delicious, the pastas awesome and the entrees divine. You can have a frugal meal or go all out.

The first time we were there as a foursome and we had: - 1 bottle of wine - 2 pizzas - boar with potatos - 3 pastas (1 with truffles, 1 with porcini mushroom, 1 with wild boar) The total was €78.

The second time, my husband and I had: - 1 bottle of 1999 Chianti Trecento from Castello Poppiano - 2 gnocchi with blue cheese and pear - 2 veal scalloppini with truffle - 2 sides (roasted peppers and roasted potatos) Total bill was €100.
